Joe is Eastward’s point person for identifying creative talent and matching these candidates with career opportunities they might not otherwise have found attainable. He has helped many individuals not only realize offers for initially appropriate position, he has since watched them advance from there.
Starting his career in the field straight out of Syracuse University in 2018, Joe, gained valuable experience in contingent hiring. This prepared him for Eastward’s executive search orientation by teaching him that not every person who looks like a perfect fit actually is, and that not every perfect fit is necessarily interested in the opportunity. He had to get used to hearing “no” – and also to saying “no” as the situation merited. Ultimately, though, there is nothing Joe finds more satisfying as those times when the perfect skill-set match is also the perfect cultural fit.
He still resides near where he grew up on Long Island’s south shore along with Roo, his Australian cattle dog.
