A leading Strategy Consulting firm looking to build a new Practice in Turnaround and Restructuring. The client's specific goal was to scale a new vertical to $50m inside of 3 years.
The client approached us to hire multiple Senior Partners who could spearhead the firm's entrance into the Turnaround and Restructuring industry. After identifying the senior-revenue-generating team leaders, we were then tasked with building out the leveraged model, identifying resources at the supporting levels of Principal and Engagement Manager. The aim was to create a cohesive team and critical mass in the establishment of a new vertical for the firm.
Once scope and timeline were established, we agreed upon a managed campaign. We jointly developed a storyboard, marketing campaign (for talent purposes and employer branding online), go-to-market narrative and assistance with structuring their approach. We crafted the marketing, search approach, and, once approved, carefully mapped the market for individuals who fit the exact brief.
Eastward managed a full Team Build Retained Search involving market mapping, candidate targeting, and a managed approach, to interview and screen a suitable longlist and develop a shortlist for the client to interview.
Eastward Partners introduced over 30 highly attractive candidates in the course of our search pipelining. Our Client identified a number of candidates it wished to hire and, after some deliberation, brought 4 professionals onto the platform.
